It is a particular type of laser, present in aesthetic medical field since many years. It is also called resurfacing fractional laser.
The Fractional laser is used not only for aesthetic purposes with great success to reduce or eliminate skin spots, melasma, acne scars, fine lines of the face and to perform non-ablative skin rejuvenation (skin resurfacing), but also for therapeutic purposes to treat corns, warts, hyperkeratosis and many other benign skin conditions.

How does Fractional Laser work

The Fractionated laser acts burning small fractions of tissues in depth, but leaving the skin surface intact, consequently the healing time and the resumption of normal activities is very shortened.
In particular, through optical fibers, the fractional laser produces tiny holes in depth causing denaturation of collagen and consequent production of new collagen, which is how this treatment produces a rejuvenation and improvement of skin tissue but without affecting the superficial layers.

Applications and instructions for Fractional Laser

The fractional laser is useful for treating many imperfections of the face, neck and hands, or body, such as:
• skin discoloration (sunspots or senile spots)
• solar lentigo
• acne scars
• melasma and chloasma
• small facial wrinkles, especially wrinkles around the eyes and wrinkles of the lips
• In addition, the Fractional laser, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, is effective to perform non-ablative skin rejuvenation (skin resurfacing).
