In summer, especially in subjects with major sweating problems, some body areas with a high concentration of sweat glands (hands, feet, armpits) may represent a personal and social unconvenients to the patient as they increase sweating.

In fact, to treat excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis on the hands, feet and armpits, you can undertake a treatment with botulinum toxin type A.

It is a simple procedure performed in axillary, palmar or plantar areas, either alone or in variable association. It could be performed with or without local anesthesia, it lasts about 10-15 minutes per treated area and lasts up to 9 months.

This technique remains the most effective treatment for hyperhidrosis.
